We have been home free for the last four years and want to share our experiences, the good, the bad and the terrifying as we navigate life’s ultimate long weekend.
We are Mona and Larry, two dreamers that found themselves on the other side of the hill, looking at the end of the rainbow but with no pot of gold in sight.
This site is about the decisions we made and the experiences we had once we decided to downsize, retire, travel, and fulfill our dreams on limited means.
We call it “our days off” because we are work-campers during the summer and take as many “days off” as possible during the winter.
